In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hillcrest Hornets (Springfield, MO) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO), by a margin of 41-18.
The Hornets (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lebanon (Lebanon, MO). The Yellowjackets go into the Ozarks outing with a 3-10 record.
The Eagles now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Aurora for a non-league outing on Monday, January 22. Joplin will clash with a Houn Dawgs squad coming off a 60-34 league win over Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO). The Houn Dawgs record now stands at 12-2.
