Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY), 54-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oldham County upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Colonels host Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 15-1.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers (Louisville, KY) in a District 21 bout, on Friday, January 19. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record.
