New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley tipped by Hope Christian

January 16, 2024: Pojoaque, NM 87506

The Hope Christian Huskies basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 34 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hot Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Hope Christian will meet a Tigers team coming off a 54-32 non-league loss to Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.

The Elks/Elkettes (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Grants was nudged by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 39-34, in a non-league contest.
