Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) and the host Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH), saw Upper Scioto Valley's basketball squad hold off Lima Central Catholic by a tally of 36-33.
With the victory, Upper Scioto Valley improves its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Rams host Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH) to play the Golden Gophers in a Northwest Central challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Golden Gophers come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Ridgemont lost 42-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Vanlue (Vanlue, OH)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Celina Bulldogs (Celina, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Lima Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record.
