Illinois High School Basketball - Mt. Zion ripped by Lincoln

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored a decisive 73-43 triumph over the Mt. Zion Braves.

In their next game, the Railsplitters meet the Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 20. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 23-0 season record. The Irish enter the match with a 22-3 record after their 50-28 league win over Peoria (Peoria, IL).

With the defeat, Mt. Zion moves to 15-9 on the year. The Braves host St. Teresa (Decatur, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 11-6. St. Teresa won 60-51 in their recent non-league match against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL)
