The Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) basketball crushed the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), 68-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chargers (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Central (Bay City, MI). The Wolves go into the Saginaw Valley test with a 0-8 record.
The Hornets now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hill-McCloy for a Mid-Michigan test on Friday, January 19. New Lothrop will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Genesee Christian (Burton, MI). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
