The North Woods grizzlies basketball team (Cook, MN), was overwhelmed 86-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN)
The Panthers now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherry for a A Section 7 battle on Thursday, January 18. South Ridge will confront a Tigers team coming off a 77-35 league win over Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
The grizzlies (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Nashwauk-Keewatin (Nashwauk, MN). The Spartans come into the A Section 7 battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Nashwauk-Keewatin was overwhelmed by Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN), 86-38, in a non-league battle.
