Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) and the visiting Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH), saw Northridge's basketball squad overcome Oakwood by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Northridge improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Riverside (De Graff, OH) to confront the Pirates in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Riverside lost 46-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston (Houston, OH)
Next up, the Lumberjacks confront the Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Oakwood will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 45-40 non-league win over Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH).
