Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Vincennes Rivet Patriots (Vincennes, IN), 51-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tecumseh upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Princeton (Princeton, IN) to play the Tigers in a Pocket bout on Saturday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 16-4. Princeton won 47-33 in their recent league bout against Pike Central (Petersburg, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN) in a Blue Chip bout, on Thursday, January 18. Vincennes Rivet will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 43-40 non-league win over Southridge (Huntingburg, IN).
