Tri-County Mustangs (Jamesport, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Winston Red Birds (Winston, MO), 41-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tri-County upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Red Birds play the Cameron Dragons (Cameron, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Winston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
