Land O' Lakes Gators (Land O' Lakes, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), 57-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Land O' Lakes upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Gators host Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL) to play the Bulls in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Bulls come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Wiregrass Ranch won 62-49 in their recent non-league bout against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record.
