Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM), 41-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sandia Prep upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Sundevils host Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Albuquerque Academy won 48-31 in their recent non-league bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

Next up, the Silverbacks play the Native American Community Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Legacy Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
