The Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 52-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pioneers (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Mt. Baker was trounced by Blaine (Blaine, WA), 51-45, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Sedro-Woolley for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Meridian will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 39-37 non-league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 4-10.
