North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), 58-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Valleys upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Truckee (Truckee, CA) to clash with the Wolverines in a bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Truckee lost 67-22 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 19. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 57-17 league loss to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA).
