In Tuesday's non-league match, the host West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 34-31 triumph over the Rio Grande Ravens.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 22. West Mesa will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record.
