The Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils to 40 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sandia for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Albuquerque Academy will confront a Matadors team coming off a 66-49 non-league win over Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Sandia Prep falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 12-2. Robertson won 84-53 in their recent non-league game against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM)
