California High School Basketball - Anderson falls to Mt. Shasta

The Anderson Cubs basketball squad (Anderson, CA), was outscored 57-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA)

With the victory, Mt. Shasta advances its record to 9-9 on the year. The Bears host Etna (Etna, CA) to meet the Lions in a Shasta Cascade battle on Friday, January 17. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 5-9. Etna lost 61-40 in their recent league battle against Trinity (Weaverville, CA)

The Cubs now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Valley for a Northern battle on Friday, January 17. Anderson will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 69-32 league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-16.
