The Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball edged the visiting South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA), 59-52 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Highlanders now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Peters Township for a WPIAL 5A 3 bout on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, South Allegheny falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a WPIAL 3A 3 bout on Friday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-10.
