In Thursday's league test, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) basketball squad trounced the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), by a score of 74-49.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a VISAA Division I test, on Friday, January 17. Gonzaga will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 12-4 record after their 59-39 league loss to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
