Louisiana High School Basketball - Parkview Baptist routs Catholic of Pointe Coupee

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Parkview Baptist Eagles basketball team scored a big 56-34 triumph over the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets.
The Eagles (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 21-1 record. In their last contest, Denham Springs smashed Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA), 82-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 21-14 record after their 63-38 non-league loss to East Ascension (Gonzales, LA).
