Virginia High School Basketball - Christ Chapel Academy knocks off Veritas School

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) and the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), observed Christ Chapel Academy's basketball team overcome Veritas School by a margin of 55-39.
The (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Covenant Christian Academy (Warrenton, VA). The Golden Eagles come into the Northern Virginia challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Covenant Christian Academy defeated Ad Fontes Academy (Centreville, VA), 56-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Trinity at Meadow View Tempest (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Veritas School will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Tempest come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 74-26 non-league loss to Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA).
