The Digital Pioneers Academy Pythons basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans to 21 in the Pythons league triumph on Thursday.

The Pythons now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Idea for a PCSAA A game on Friday, January 17. Digital Pioneers Academy will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 64-60 league loss to E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Richard Wright Public Charter School falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC) to confront the EAGLES in a PCSAA A game on Tuesday, January 21. The EAGLES go into the game with a record of 4-11. Capital City Public Charter School lost 78-56 in their recent league game against Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC)
