The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) and the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), observed West Valley's basketball team overwhelm Eagle River by a score of 67-30.

The Wolf Pack (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Lathrop trounced Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 56-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Eagle River will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK).
