The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) and the visiting Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH), observed West Geauga's basketball team overcome Geneva by a score of 66-56.

The Wolverines (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Lions come into the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Orange dropped by Euclid (Euclid, OH), 75-59, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge, on Friday, January 17. Geneva will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
