The Killdeer Cowboys were victorious over the visiting New Town Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 60-42 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Cowboys (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Des Lacs-Burlington was topped by Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND), 60-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Nedrose Cardinals (Minot, ND) in a A Region 3 contest, on Thursday, January 23. New Town will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
