The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) and the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO), observed Lafayette County's basketball team overwhelm St. Paul Lutheran by a score of 74-52.

The Huskers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Minutemen come into the Missouri River Valley - East challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Lexington trounced Holden (Holden, MO), 69-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Santa Fe Chiefs (Alma, MO) in a I-70 challenge, on Friday, January 24. St. Paul Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
