    The Loyola Cubs basketball squad (Los Angeles, CA), was crushed 84-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA)

    With the victory, Sierra Canyon advances its record to 15-3 on the year. The Trailblazers travel to Grayson (Loganville, GA) to meet the Rams in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 17-1. Grayson won 102-32 in their recent league battle against Heritage (Conyers, GA)

    The Cubs now own a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Verbum Dei Jesuit for a non-league battle on Monday, January 20. Loyola will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 65-38 non-league win over Indian Springs (San Bernardino, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-8.
