Alaska High School Basketball - Nome-Beltz holds off Wasilla

The Nome-Beltz Nanooks basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Wasilla Warriors to 42 in the Nanooks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Nanooks now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Valley for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Nome-Beltz will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 67-30 non-league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Wasilla falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Service (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 4-2.
