In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans basketball team scored a big 65-43 triumph over the Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] Knights.

The Titans (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ada-Borup (Ada, MN). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Ada-Borup walloped Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN), 77-70, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stephen-Argyle Central for a A Section 8 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] will meet a Storm squad coming off a 93-87 non-league loss to Warroad (Warroad, MN). The Storm record now stands at 5-12.
