Next, the Buccaneers clash with the South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. West Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Tarpons come into the test with a 17-7 record after their 64-62 non-league win over Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA).

The Spartans (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Grand Isle (Grand Isle, LA). The Trojans come into the C District 8 test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Grand Isle held off Lutheran (Metairie, LA), 48-24, in a league test.
