In Thursday's non-league test, the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), by a score of 50-25.
Next, the Sartans encounter the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 21. St. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record.
The Hilltoppers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Moriarty was routed by West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 70-56, in a non-league test.
