The St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) basketball edged the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 59-53 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Horsemen now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18.
With the loss, Pojoaque Valley falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Elks/elkettes host Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to play the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 2-2.
