In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Simon Kenton Pioneers basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the St. Henry Crusaders.

The Pioneers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. St. Henry will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
