The New Iberia Yellowjackets nipped the host Assumption Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 37-33 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Yellowjackets face the St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 18. New Iberia will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 10-4 record after their 42-32 league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, LA).
