The Ballard Christian Eagle basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Wiregrass Kings to 26 in the Eagle non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagle now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Calvary Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Ballard Christian will confront a Knights team coming off a 35-32 non-league win over Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL). The Knights record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Wiregrass falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Kings travel to East Central HomeSchool (Pinson, AL) to confront the Patriots in a Alabama Christian Sports game on Friday, January 17. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 10-1. East Central HomeSchool won 56-54 in their recent league game against Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL)
