Indiana High School Basketball - Hammond Morton triumphant over Calumet Christian

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) and the visiting Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN), observed Hammond Morton's basketball team overwhelm Calumet Christian by a score of 85-40.

The Governors (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Cardinals come into the Great Lakes challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, East Chicago Central was routed by Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN), 54-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Granger Christian Knights (Granger, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Calumet Christian will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 53-35 league win over Clinton Christian (Goshen, IN).
