In Thursday's league contest, the host Centennial Baptist Mustangs basketball team scored a good 39-25 triumph over the Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars.

The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Notus (Notus, ID). The Pirates go into the 2A Western Idaho contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Notus was topped by Rimrock (Bruneau, ID), 55-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the North Star Huskies (Eagle, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Gem State Adventist Academy will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 24-16 league loss to Riverstone International (Boise, ID).
