The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA), observed Neshannock's basketball team edge Central Valley by a score of 49-46.

The Lancers (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge, on Monday, January 20. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
