Nebraska High School Basketball - Cross County triumphant over Twin River

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) and the host Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), observed Cross County's basketball team overwhelm Twin River by a score of 68-38.

The Cougars (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against David City (David City, NE). The Scouts come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, David City was routed by Raymond Central (Raymond, NE), 31-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Twin River will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 42-30 non-league loss to Palmyra (Palmyra, NE).
