In Thursday's non-league test, the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) basketball squad defeated the host Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), by a score of 35-22.

Next, the Bluejackets clash with the North Daviess Cougars (Elnora, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 85-28 non-league loss to South Knox (Vincennes, IN).

The Thunderbirds (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Edgewood went down by Owen Valley (Spencer, IN), 40-34, in a league test.
