The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Grace Christian Crusaders (Sanford, NC) and the host TPLS Christian Academy Lions (Richmond, VA), observed Grace Christian's basketball team overwhelm TPLS Christian Academy by a score of 78-45.
The Crusaders (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. David's (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, St. David's trounced GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC), 30-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. TPLS Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 62-38 league win over North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
