The McDonald County Mustangs basketball squad (Anderson, MO), was outscored 49-35 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO)

With the victory, Joplin advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Eagles host Glendale (Springfield, MO) to meet the Falcons in a Central Ozarks battle on Monday, January 20. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 7-7. Glendale lost 36-26 in their recent non-league battle against Marshfield (Marshfield, MO)

The Mustangs now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshfield for a Big 8 battle on Monday, January 20. McDonald County will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 36-26 non-league win over Glendale (Springfield, MO). The Bluejays record now stands at 10-4.
