The Shiprock Chieftains nipped the host Monument Valley Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 43-41 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Chieftains clash with the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 17. Shiprock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 8-9 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
The Cougars (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ). The Lobos enter the non-league outing with a 15-5 record.
