In Thursday's non-league test, the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA) basketball squad trounced the host Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), by a final score of 63-16.

Next, the Blue Eagles clash with the Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 21. Nazareth Area will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.

The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their test against East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Cavaliers come into the Mountain Valley test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, East Stroudsburg South was overwhelmed by Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 80-17, in a league test.
