The Park Rapids Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Nevis Tigers to 49 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Frazee for a AA Section 8 game on Friday, January 17. Park Rapids will confront a Hornets team coming off a 67-35 league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Nevis falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN) to confront the Mustangs in a A Section 8 game on Friday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 7-2. Kelliher/Northome won 92-45 in their recent non-league game against Bigfork (Bigfork, MN)
