The North Cross Raiders basketball squad (Roanoke, VA), was crushed 62-10 in Thursday's league battle with the host The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA)

With the victory, The Covenant advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Chelsea Academy (Front Royal, VA) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Chelsea Academy won 55-34 in their recent non-league battle against Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA)

The Raiders now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roanoke Catholic for a VISAA Blue Ridge battle on Tuesday, January 21. North Cross will meet a Celtics squad coming off a 73-21 league loss to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Celtics record now stands at 3-6.
