Mississippi High School Basketball - Okolona routs Potts Camp

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Okolona Chieftains basketball team scored a big 56-14 triumph over the Potts Camp Cardinals.

The Chieftains (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Seminoles go into the 1A Region 4 contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Smithville smashed West Lowndes (Columbus, MS), 50-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Potts Camp will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Aggies go into the contest with a 11-8 record after their 63-26 non-league win over Corinth (Corinth, MS).
