Indiana High School Basketball - Peru victorious over Southwood

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Peru Tigers basketball team scored a good 46-36 triumph over the Southwood Knights.

The Tigers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Northfield (Wabash, IN). The Norsemen go into the Three Rivers contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Northfield topped Northwestern (Kokomo, IN), 51-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Whitko Wildcats (South Whitley, IN) in a Three Rivers contest, on Saturday, January 18. Southwood will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 58-44 non-league win over Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN).
