In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Centennial Hawks basketball team scored a big 48-16 triumph over the Deming Wildcats.
The Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Deming will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
