The Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Granby Comets to 18 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Norfolk Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Catholic will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-30 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Granby falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Mighty Bookers in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Mighty Bookers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
